Security Inspection Visit
Proactive maintenance on your system is vital to ensuring you have a security solution you can have faith in. Just as with any electronic device that is in constant use, your component parts need to be checked to ensure they remain fit for purpose and any issues are dealt with quickly.
By delivering effective and regular maintenance on alarm systems, the potential for outages and breakdowns are significantly reduced. And, with that early intervention, larger scale problems are resolved before they can develop, which helps to keep running costs down.
At Colt Security Systems we know that having a high-performance system will be central to your operating strategy, and to ensure the performance of that system you’ll need a comprehensive maintenance and servicing program.
This is why we offer a program that includes call out fees and labour charges so you can rest assured there’ll be no hidden expenses. On the inspection visit we will replace any equipment batteries that are required to be changed also at no further cost. Should there be any equipment that need to be replaced, these will come to you at a discount price with installation free of charge. Once the inspection is complete, we will provide a ‘Inspection Certificate’ that itemises all checks that have been carried out. This certificate is presentable to your insurance company and will reassure them you have a valid security solution in place.
Your intruder alarm system will need a complete maintenance visit every year. For Police response alarms, this then increases to twice a year, however, one of these maintenance visits may be done remotely through our digital diagnostics team.
Depending on your maintenance agreement, we can offer both planned and reactive maintenance ensuring that your system is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. No matter the circumstance, we have cover.
To ensure your property has the level of cover you’ll expect here are some of the checks we complete at each and every inspection:
