Especially popular with our Schools, Business holders and Public Service clients, out highly cost-effective key-holder service prevents any disruption to the running of your operations and alleviates the need for senior personnel to be called out in the early hours and subsequently taking time off in lieu.
Upon activation of your Colt Security Alarm system, a trained professional will attend and conduct external checks to safeguard against criminal damage to protect your property and staff. Once external checks for interference have been made, they will enter the building to ascertain the reason for the alarm before taking any further action. The security official will make stringent checks of all possible access points to make certain they are secure whilst checking for suspicious activity. Should the alarm proven to have been a false activation, the security official will then reset the alarm and diligently secure the premises before making a final external check.

If at the alarm activation there are signs of a break-in, the officer will call the Police and wait for them to arrive before taking any further action. Our security officers understand not to take any further action that may hamper justice or spoil evidence and during their wait they will notify their control centre.
The control centre will then make every effort to contact the designated emergency contact and keep them up to date with what appears to have occurred. Our security official is tasked to remain on scene until the Police are satisfied the building can be made safe once more, at which point our security official will leave the buildings secure.

Under usual circumstances, key holder service officials are on scene within 30 minutes no matter what time of the day they are activated, 365 days a year.
All our vehicles are satellite tracked and all security officers are fidelity bonded to give our clients complete peace of mind.
Not only this, but Security Personal provisioned by Colt Security Systems are also SITO trained and licensed to the Security Industry Authority in accordance with the 2001 Private Security Industry Act.
They have all obtained at least Level 2 in Security Guarding and hold a CSCS card. Our provisioned service has also been awarded accreditation to the Safe Contractor scheme and Worksafe Contractor SSIP.
